How to Set Up IPTV on Smart TV (Samsung, LG, Android TV)

Smart TV setup varies by brand. Android TV is the simplest — it is identical to Firestick. Samsung and LG require extra steps due to their closed app stores.

Android TV (Sony, Philips, TCL)

Method: IPTV Smarters Pro from Google Play Store

  1. 1Open Google Play Store on your TV
  2. 2Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro"
  3. 3Install and open the app
  4. 4Select "Login With Xtream Codes API"
  5. 5Enter your Server URL, Username, and Password
  6. 6Wait for channels to load and start streaming

Android TV is the easiest setup — identical to the Firestick process.

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)

Method: Smart IPTV app (sideloaded)

  1. 1Enable Developer Mode: In Apps, press 12345, toggle Developer Mode ON, enter your PC IP
  2. 2Download Smart IPTV .wgt file on your computer
  3. 3Use Samsung's developer portal to sideload the app to your TV
  4. 4Open Smart IPTV, note your TV's MAC address
  5. 5Enter your M3U playlist URL in the Smart IPTV online portal
  6. 6Restart the app — your channels load automatically

Samsung Tizen does not support Xtream Codes directly. Use the M3U URL version of your playlist from us.

LG Smart TV (WebOS)

Method: Smart IPTV or GSE IPTV (sideloaded)

  1. 1Enable Developer Mode from the LG Developer site
  2. 2Use LG's webOS Dev Manager to install Smart IPTV
  3. 3Open the app and go to Settings > Playlist
  4. 4Enter your M3U URL
  5. 5Confirm and reload — your channels appear

LG WebOS requires sideloading. If this feels complex, a $30 Firestick stick plugged into your TV's HDMI port is a simpler option with a better app.
